About Me
ABOUT ME
I'm originally from Hungary but lived abroad fro the past 4 years. First in Finland then moved to Edinburgh. I've been quite lucky and been able to travel through most of Europe and visited Asia briefly. I am studying Sculpture now, quite into the installation business and trying to ingrate community work into my practice. Making people laugh is always something I aim at with my art as I believe it's a quite powerful tool. Now for the summer I gave myself a bit of cooling off period after a long project and a few exhibitions to rediscover that spark and meet amazing new people.
PHILOSOPHY
When one man, for whatever reason, has the opportunity to lead an extraordinary life, he has no right to keep it to himself.
Jacques Yves Cousteau
So please share your extraordinary life with me :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm very new to this system, I have couchsurefed with my friend before though and want this to become a good habit. Would really love to host as well, hopefully at my next flat :)
Interests
Quite into cinema as well as art, community work. Quite enjoy the urban environment and just taking long strolls to soak up a city. Good chat with people I think is essential to everyone so trying to have as much of that as possible.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am just discovering the B films and Z films at the moment, quite enjoy the idea of failure and how wonderful that can be, sometimes even more so than success. In terms of books, I have a love hate relationship with James Joyce, had a long term relationship with Gogol, Dostoevsky and a few little flirts with Bret Easton Ellis recently.
At the moment musicwise, really into Ratatat and bands alike, sort of electro electronica feel.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I tried to make a b film, which was supposed to be about failure and failed at the very end. Quite apt i think.
Teach, Learn, Share
I speak a bit of French and Spanish, I play a few intruments (not on any expert level) I am quite good at making things in general and know quite a lot about cinema and film production but really happy to just cook for others.
