About Me

I grew up at the north of Poland.

I have been living in London for last four years where I graduate from the University of Arts. Currently I work as bookbinder in a workshop in central London, and also develop my own art-projects and collaborations on a side.

Apart from graphic design, and bookbinding I practice rock-climbing (4-5 times a week) and cycling.

I am interested in films, I made two short movies, and I enjoy reading film theory. I prefer to go to an Art-house cinema, than regular-blockbuster-hightstreet-cinema, preferebly early in the morning, or late at night.

I walk a lot. I believe in Werner Herzog's philosophy - the World reveals itself while walking of foot.

I am trying to be an aware consumer, and health-aware in regards of food. Many of my friends are vegans/vegetarians so I try to go for vegetarian meal over a meat one (I call it 'crypto-vegetarianism').

I am very bad in small talk what some people find rude. I am not rude...I just smile whenever I have a reason to do so:) Also I don't like popular mainstream music.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This website gives me an opportunity to meet local people when travel, experience someone else's life, and try things I wouldn't normally do in my regular environment.

Interests

As I mentioned above, I enjoy sports, movies and music. I am not a big enthusiast of Hollywood productions or UK top 40 bangers.
I enjoy contemporary art and photography. I treat myself with a day trip around all of my favourite museums and galleries in London once in a while.
And on everyday basis I am interested in staying off the beaten paths in this huge and busy city, as I am not very 'city' person.
