ABOUT ME

I'm Szilvi from Hungary and I wish I had something impressive/interesting/fascinating/smart/funny to write here... I guess you just have to give me a chance to get to know me, but I promise you won't regret it... I mean, I hope so ;) Okay, let's try to write here something intelligible. I like to think I'm a responsible adult. I like to be needed and help others- that's why being a nanny is a great job for me. I also like to learn. Learn from others, see how they see the world. I'm a great listener, open-minded and ready to hear your stories! Probably the best times of my life happened over a cup of tea. I just love having great conversations, because I feel like every person I meet can extend my knowledge and I prefer that over money or anything I can ever own. (You can probably tell by now I want to study psychology in the future:))

Since I already live with a host family, I don't really have the opportunity to be a host, but I'm always available to hang out.
As soon as I get my own apartment I will be more than happy to have you as my guest.

So far I only had lovely hosts!!! They were all great to me. Wish to see them again:)

Interests

I like being everywhere I feel good. That means I love my friends and no matter how bad the circumstances are I'd be happy around them. So how do I spend my time? Mostly driving my friends nuts and making them laugh. If they are not available I enjoy traveling, hiking, driving, getting to know different cultures, sports, movies, books, music.

Music, Movies, and Books

Indie, alternative rock, classic rock and movie soundtracks. There is no good movie without a good soundtrack.
Movies... hmm Hollywood stopped creating memorable movies, though there are some that worth your money but clearly not as many as 15years ago. Late 80's/early 90's movies rocks!
From books my absolute favorite is Douglas Adams' Hitchhiker's guide to the Galaxy "trilogy".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm amazed every single time I realize I made one of my dreams come true :) I've lived in the States for 2years and now I'm living in London!!! Just imagine, you leave behind everyone and everything you know and go to a completely strange place (where nobody speaks your native language), to work with someone who you have no idea if you'll get along or not, but you still give it a shot. For some it's not a big deal, but for me it seems pretty courageous. I overcame my fears and my doubts and I think we can all agree that this is pretty cool :)
