I'm the "all time thinking kind of guy". Much more than drink, smoke and go to clubs, I prefer to find creative ways of spending time. I'm trying to be humble, so if you host me, I'll just need a place on ground to sleep and some water to drink, wash clothes and take a shower. I don't drink and I don't smoke cigarettes.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Over last few years I travelled around more than 25 countries by auto-stop. Sleeping in a tent, or under the sky, eventually being hosted by people. I only used couchsurfing few times but that made me sure that as soon as I settle down a bit I'd like to also become a host.
For now I live in a room above a small mosque, and I help here as imam and I help to maintain the building. In Islam it is obligatory for us to receive any traveler who is looking for a place to sleep. For 3 days it is obligatory, and after that it is recommended. Therefore I will be very happy to receive any travelers and offer them warm bed, food and some stories.

Interests

I'm strongly interested in spirituality in general. The phenomena of people, connected by idea of God/ methaphysical laws (like buddists) etc. fascinates me, and I never get tired of thinking about it.

Music, Movies, and Books

I used to listen to rap music but now I do it quite rarely. I watch hundreds of movies and I like classic East- European literature like Dostojewski, Mickiewicz, but also sci- fi classics like Philip Dick or (young polish autor) Jacek Dukaj.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once "saved a life" of a guy, who jumped into low water, hit the bottom with his head, lost consciousness and he started drawning. I pushed his heart 30 times and did CPR. They even wrote an article about it. ;P

Good conversations and a prayer for them. ;) I am a practicing Muslim person, so if we sleep in the same room, keep in mind, I will wake up at dawn and recite some prayers.
