Hi! My name is Simon and I'm currently traveling with my girlfriend, who is from Brazil. We are now in Poland. We visited Gdańsk and Toruń and now we are in Kraków for two days, after which we are going to Zakopane for some hiking.

I'm a very enthusiastic, easy going person. I'm open to different adventures and I'm not picky about anything. I'd eat anything, I love trying new things, I could sleep on a little rock, cover myself with another rock and I'd be happy 😂

I was born in Poland but I moved to Ireland when I was 14 years old. I fell in love with this country and the people that surround me :)

I started solo travelling three years ago. I hitchhiked across southern Europe. I fell in love with traveling, meeting new people and cultures. Last year I backpacked around South East Asia for almost 3 months. This summer I've done the same, but in South America. I am now addicted to travelling, I feel it makes me grow as a person. I'm saving up money during my academic year (which is difficult being a poor student haha) and then I spend it all during the summer.

I'm currently on an erasmus student exchange programme in Alicante. I live there until summer and I'm willing to host guests, but unfortunately all I can offer is a couch near city centre and good company, tips about the city and country and some stories!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I've heard of couchsurfing before but I didn't think it was very popular until I meet a guy on a boat going to small island of Tavira in Portugal. I started talking with this Portuguese man and after a few minutes of good conversation he offered me a bed on that island. He then asked me if I'm on couchsurfing and said that he hosts guests since 2008. I spent a brilliant evening with this guy and he told me to set up a profile, as he has many friends on this website, who often host guests.
The amazing time I spent in that house encouraged me to try couchsurfing and I hope I will find more people like Joan :)

音乐、电影和书籍

Music: I listen a bit of everything. Recently I discovered a Braizllian song that is not very popular but I was listening to the song for 2 days, over and over 😅

Books: I like reading adventure books but I would read anything, however after reading a bibliography of a woman, who was often raped as a child I'm trying to stay away from sad books!

Movies: Again, huge range, from Godfather, through Pulp Fiction, Matrix, Super Bad to How To Train Your Dragon and Jungle Book 😂

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I was driving home from college one day and I found a flock of sheep running down the road. I got out of the car and managed to get about 30 sheep back into the field 😂 being a sheep shepherd is challenging 😂

I have travelled a lot, I got to meet many interesting places, people and cultures. I have many stories to share! I can also teach Polish or English and my next goal is to learn Spanish so I'd appreciate any new word learned.

Great company! I could talk about Irish or Polish Culture and I'm a great listener! Sarah and myself are very clean and easygoing people, we're no hassle at all. We have lots of stories to tell from our little travels 😊
