ABOUT ME

Playing boardgames with new friends, chatting, drinking cold beer, hearing some Polish band in the background. Cut. Jumping like a lunatic during a punk-rock concert. Cut. Reading Herbert, Tolkien or Le Guin with a cat on my knees, a cup of tea in my hand and Ella Fitzgerald gently humming from loud-speakers. Cut. Preparing some extraordinary meal with my beloved one while listening to a low-quality radio pop and irritating commercials, which make us both laugh out. Cut. Sitting in a trembling train to anywhere, staring through the window and thinking about links between stoic philosophers, the fall of the Latin Empire in 1261 and my new boardgame ideas... Yeah, boardgames again. That's probably me.

PHILOSOPHY

Stoic (still trying). Do what makes you happy, decide about yourself, do not worry to change your mind - unless you hurt someone else. Happiness is a moment of calmness and certainty that everything is all right. I try to gather as many of such moments as possible - because this is a happy life, and I've got one.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This year (2012) my beloved one, our mutual friend and me, organised a birthday party together - the moment when almost 60 cheerful people, our friends, gathered around us after weeks of preparations, was absolutely stunning :)

Trip to Danielka - kind of a youth hostel in the Beskidy mountains in Poland - with friends, which was preceded by a visit to a wedding party on the other side of the country, and a crazy journey to Cieszyn, for a concert of a Czech band. And everything in one weekend, without a break :)
