ABOUT ME

Hello.
My name is Simon, I live in Warsaw where I also study at the Polish-Japanese Institute of Information Technology. I enjoy learning new things about other cultures and meeting new people - so it's especially cool when you combine those two ;-) Bam, that's why I'm here on CouchSurfing.
I'm a friendly person who enjoys the fun of a good trip and exploring new places.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

If you're from any place in the world and visiting Warsaw (or wherever I'm staying at the moment) I'll gladly help you out, show you around and be a conversation companion.
I speak Polish and good English and I am looking forward to new CouchSurfing experiences.
Whenever I'll have a spare couch or be in need of one during one of my travels, I'll definitely put the info here.

Interests

I study and work, I do IT and business kind of thing-y, but that hardly grabs attention (nevertheless I like it and I'm down to chat about those geeky things). I like nature and hiking in my spare time. I like sports - I used to do martial arts (Karate as a semi-pro) and soccer but these days I usually just grab my bike and/or backpack and take them with me as far as possible.
I like variety if it comes to spending my time and I'm open to trying new activities.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I really loved the time I spent in Canada and Hawaii. I've met a lot of great people there and saw a lot of beatiful places.
In Canada I spent a night by a river under the stars hundreds of miles from civilization, with only friends and bears around. In Hawaii I hiked around most of the island of Oahu with my fellow companions from around the world. Great memories.

Teach, Learn, Share

As I stated above, I can chat about geeky stuff and business stuff. I can also teach you some basic Karate moves or Polish if you wish.
I'm a very bad dancer though.
