ABOUT ME

I am American, born and raised. I grew up on a 10-acre farm in Sacramento, CA with horses, chickens and the fresh California air. Since I can remember, I've always been very independent. I attended junior high and high school at a boarding school in Oregon. 2 years later I moved to Florida and worked there for 6 years. I found my way back to California and was there for 3 years, with a short 4-month stint in Phoenix, AZ.

In March of 2011, I moved to Thailand and taught English to over 300 kids a week in a large private school. I left in November and traveled for 6 months, working 3 of those months in a remote, aboriginal community in WA, Australia.

Currently, I live in Bangkok and manage a new tutoring business I just started in downtown.

PHILOSOPHY

The only way to live is an over-the-ramparts charge against life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hosted tons of people in Bangkok. As a surfer, I'll treat my host to a nice dinner, keep the house clean -- just generally keep my exchange in!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had some great CS experiences. Everyone I've met has been interesting and fun to hang out with. I've made some lifelong friends through CS.

So many. Love suspense, thriller and comedy books and movies. Love most music except heavy, heavy metal and crappy rap.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Sky diving. What an amazing, exhilarating experience. I want to eventually get my sky diving license and jump frequently all over the world.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I'd love to teach others what I know in Thai. And, of course, I am always willing to teach people a little English here and there. I love making friends all over the world and learning about other cultures.
