About Me

CURRENT MISSION

"Stand in the presence of your own mystery"

ABOUT ME

A wandering soul that finds stability in the chaos of the moment. Generally a reserve person, but have been told there is a pleasantly goofy side that slips out when the moment is right. Enjoy the art of the conversation, and will offer whatever I can to the subject. I enjoy reading, writing (short stories and poetry), acting, running, yoga, biking, and most any activity that will allow me to appreciate the nature around me.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life with the knowledge that we are forever changing and continually remain the same. The purity of connections can only be based in truth and honesty.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first and only experience within the couchsurfing community was in Oaxaca, Mexico where I had the pleasure of staying with a gracious host who showed me and a friend all around his city. The experience was very unique in that we also got to know his beautifully pleasant family as he went out of town during our stay. Heartwarming, and intriguing I was left with a yearn for more experiences in couch surfing however varied they may be ...

Interests

The arts, sciences, and most anything that will allow growth for myself and others. Vague but true.

Music, Movies, and Books

Bukowski, Kubrick, Wes Anderson, Murakami, Wilco, David Foster Wallace, Dave Eggers ... too many to mention.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbing Mount Fuji beginning at 7 at night to reach the summit at sunrise with my younger brother. A visually beautiful experience that stirred the soul, and strengthened the bond of two brothers forever. Highly recommend the trek to anyone visiting Japan.

Teach, Learn, Share

Over ten years of bartending experience spanning from Austin to New York to Los Angeles - I'd be more than happy to teach any classic, innovative, or original cocktails for any company who would like to enjoy.
