Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My couchsurfing experience was great. Travelling through countries and meeting locals you learn so much more about a culture. Especially if the people are so friendly and openminded like my hosts were.
Also the local groups are great to meet like-minded people from all around the world.

Interests

I love sports activities like climbing, paragliding, unicycle, slagline.. doesn't mean I'm really good at any of it, but I do love trying new stuff. If there's a foosball table near I'll definetly have a good time. So much for activities. What makes my life engaging? I plan to decipher how people tick and what makes people happy. I try doing this throught my phd.. step by step.
So basically I sit at my desk and read and read and read about people then after work I go into the real world again and see that the written can't capture the complexety and none of the magic of the real world. And I read novels (they're by far better at catching the magic then scientific papers).
