About Me

Been lucky enough to have lived a few amazing places, and and hoping to live in a few amazing more! I'm a Vancouverite/Torontonian with bits of my heart in Berlin, Portland OR, and Australia. I've spent the last 7 months living, working, and exploring in Australia, NZ, Indonesia, Thailand, and Laos.

I'm a biology kid at heart, and love running around outdoors. I love good chats, good beers, and really bad puns.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A great way to meet interesting local people, and what better way to get to know a place than through the eyes of locals!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: All over. I love music. I am always happy to hear new stuff and share the stuff I know!
Shakey Graves, Alt J, Tei Shi, Sylvan Esso, The National, Paul Simon, Kanye West, Metric, St. Vincent, for starters.

Books: I gravitate towards magical realism, such as Gabriel Garcia Marquez & Isabel Allende; recently I've read and enjoyed Half of a Yellow Sun & 1984

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent a day alone in the Amazon; just me, and the noises of the jungle.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm loaded with fun facts about biology, and love love chatting about it with anyone willing to lend an ear.

I'm an amateur photographer, so I can teach you some of the basics if you've been looking to get into it; likewise, if you know a lot I'm always happy to learn more!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love having good conversations; I'm quite curious about a lot of things in this world. I love to cook and learn from others, too -- most of my knowledge of cooking has been acquired by watching friends and family cook.

Countries I’ve Visited

Ecuador, France, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Laos, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Peru, Poland, Spain, Thailand, Turkey

Countries I’ve Lived In
