About Me
CURRENT MISSION
get to know myself learning from the world
ABOUT ME
I'm a laid back person who loves to hang out and have fun. At the same time I love to have a good piece of a conversation on some philosophical topics, discuss art, religion and other stuff related to human nature and the complexity of our universe.
Big loud parties is the place to be for me but I can as well appreciate a quiet evening in a small company and an interesting chat.
PHILOSOPHY
I think I'm still searching for answers to some philosophical questions because I notice my mindset is gradually changing as years pass so I come up with different answers to old questions. As of yet I try to grab as much information and experience as I can, be nice and helpful to people around me and keep searching for the ultimate truth (if there is such).
Some quotes that can describe my life attitude:
"don't try to change the world as you will fail, try to fall in love with the world and the next second the world is changed forever"
"there are no answers, only choices"
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Visiting CS meetings, acting as a guide for surfers in Moscow and offering my couch while I have such opportunity.
Interests
My main affection is basketball and all the stuff related to it. Other than basketball I've got a lot of other interests like music, movies, psychology, culture etc. I also love meeting new people and getting to know them.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love all kinds of electronic music (d'n'b, dubstep, idm, electro, progressive, downtempo, techno etc etc), I also love hip-hop (OutKast and the Roots are the favorites) and just basically any other styles depending on the mood. In a nutshell: http://www.lastfm.ru/user/timich
Usually I like deep movies which leave some memories and give you something to reflect upon. But if I'm going to the cinema I can as well watch some comedy or action movie to have a laugh or relax my mind.
Books are harder to classify because I don't get to read too much. Generally I read something that I'm recommended by my friends. Recent reading: Superfreakonomics, The day of the ant, Prometaeus rising.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Quitting a steady bank career to pursue happiness
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach or tell a lot of basketball-related stuff, but I barely believe some surfers will be interested, though I'd be happy to share (shooting free throws, anyone?).
Besides that, I don't have any particular area I'm good at, but I know a little about a lot of stuff so at least I can keep the ball rolling.
