Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love traveling. And I love solo traveling. But, while it is great to explore on your own, it is far more interesting if I get to meet a local. It doesn't matter if the Host is able to show me around or just gives some nice hints on where to go. And isn't it great to get back to the place and feel like staying at a friends place?

Interests

Books. I read a lot. What ever book I get my hand on. I still have the Lord of the Rings Triology on my Kindle waiting for me and if you can suggest some great books with powerful messages I will love to dive into the story. (My suggestion: If I was your girl)

Traveling. I just can't get enough of it. So, most likely the reason I ended up here anyway. By now I've seen quite a share of Europe, the USA east coast and start to get to know East Africa.

Photography. I have to admit, if I am not traveling I usually just forget to carry my beloved cameras. While living in Uganda I only have my Olympus Pen with me, while my DSLR is safe and sound back in Germany. But I would like to say that I am still able to take some very nice pictures with it.
