About Me
When I graduad in 2016 it was time for me to finally see a bit more of the world with everything it has to offer. Because I was always interested in different languages and cultures I went to Paris for a year to get to know the famous Savoir-vivre and to improve my french. I worked as an aupair in a lovely host family and went to a language school, too. Planning on staying for 6 months I decided to stay a year. Maybe the best decision I could have done as I just had the time of my life. During this time I got to know myself a bit better, gained a lot of self-confidence and independancy. Now I'm in Australia traveling around after working at Rookpool Bar&Grill in Melbourne to save some money for my trips here and my studies back in Europe which will start in september this year.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As I'm traveling on my own I want to meet new people to have some company although I don't mind to be by myself sometimes, just me and my thoughts. I find self-reflexion is really important especially in our society in which our brains get permanently floated by more and more news, informations and all sorts of stuff.
And then there's just the whole concept of CS which I really find genius and that I support. People from all over the world helping each-other out, being generous and working together instead of against each-other and developing new friendships.
Interests
With the right amount of enthusiasm you can interest me in pretty much everything. I'm passionate about politics, human rights, studying languages and history but also about good food, traveling (of course) and sports so there's a wide range of things that have my interest and there's a lot more to come probably
