About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Be spontaneous!

ABOUT ME

Just back from finishing school in Montpellier, France, I spend my days in a whimsical chocolate factory in Fremont, where I give tours and share my passion for social justice through commodity chains (Theo Organic and Fair Trade Chocolate). When I'm not there, I can be found working with various activist campaigns around town, riding my bike, dancing (salsa, african dance, good ole' american square dance), reading, or tooling around with my roomates at our amazingly convivial place in Wallingford.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is precious.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to surf, I love to host!
I've got lots of couch kharma to pay back, so I am into having people stay in the cozy nook at my house, but keep in mind that I live a crazy life with an even more insane schedule (there are also 6 other people who live in community with me). People who surf with us should be self-sufficient- down to join in on the things I like to fill my daily life with, but also the kind of surfer I can give keys to and have space to get work done.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It's so inspiring to meet so many free spirits - beautiful, trusting people, from all around the world! It really makes me feel like I am part of a global community!

Interests

I am into travel (duh!) - and living very deliberately. I like meeting people of all kinds of passions - as long as you have one!
Mine are social justice - especially Fair Trade and workers rights, which I have done a lot of activism around at home in Seattle, from getting my university to switch to Fair Trade coffee and sweat free clothing to working in a Fair Trade Chocolate factory (O so delicious!). I am also really into art, poetry, learning! (kind of a museum geek), dancing, people...just doing everything with vigor and enthusiasm!
