For a long time I thought I would end up as a teacher in primary school, as this felt like my dream job. Teaching is also somewhat distinguished profession in Finland and requires a Masters degree to apply for. So, I studied just that and ended up spending seven totally awesome years in Helsinki university where I also met my girlfriend Mari.

I now have the degree but more importantly I have the student life experience, met love of my life and many unique friends, grew up a little and found a new passion in life. This altogether pushed me towards my present job and taught me life can be full of surprises.

It's not only the moneysaving awesomeness of backpack traveling but also the human experience; meeting people, seeing their lifestyle and sharing ideas and experiences.

Me and Mari have made couple of trips in Europe and been hosted by the kindest of people. I hope we can offer same kind of hospitality to travelers arriving to our doorstep when we get a bigger apartment.

My newest interest is bouldering which I've been doing for about a year now. Not an expert quite yet but a fun way challenge oneself and keep in shape. I used to be a practitioner of karate but that's been on an undefined hold for now.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I directed a theatre musical in Helsinki in 2010 and 2011. It went to full houses for most of the time and I also found my girlfriend Mari during the project. :) This was the most amazing thing in my life.
