Overview
About Me
I recently finished a year abroad as an Assistant Language Teacher in the JET Program and am now job searching along the west coast. I am always excited to go on a hike, swap stories, hang out by a campfire, cook delicious food, or head out for an unplanned adventure. Honestly not sure what else to say without sounding like a bad Tinder profile, but feel free to message me with any questions you might have.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love storytelling, cooking, and meeting new people. Couchsurfing lets me meet interesting people and get to hear their adventures. I also enjoy the company, cooking for someone else, and showing people around my area. It's also a good way to travel without staying in expensive hotels.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have eclectic music tastes, but I like Jukebox the Ghost, Simon and Garfunkle, The 1975, Hippo Campus, Matt Nathanson, Morningsiders, Matt and Kim, Paper Kites, Ennio Moriconne, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, etc. In terms of movies, I'm a huge fan of the TV show Firefly and the movie the Princess Bride. A few names that pop into my mind when you mention books and authors might be Harry Potter, The Warmth of Other Suns, Joan Didion, Blankets, Neil Gaiman, Graphic Novels, Persepolis, Michael Chabon, and of course Goodnight Moon.
