Overview
About Me
I just finished with my fifth year teaching middle school, I have decided to take a year off teaching and travel. Being from a large family, I can get along with most anyone and am not high maintenance at all. I just love being outdoors or in nature, trying new things, meeting new people, and playing games.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
After teaching for five years, experiencing a failed marriage, and going on a few small solo trips, I decided to explore Europe! I have friends that I'm meeting up with in a few of the countries, but am traveling solo in between. While hostels are great and will be used primarily, I'd love to stay with locals when possible and not only save a bit of money but learn about the country from a local's view. Now that I've used it, I am excited to host travelers for myself when I'm back in the States.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: anything with a beat
Movies: anything except horror
Books: young adult mostly, but I think that's just because that's what my students were into
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Last summer, I took a solo road trip through northeastern US, totally over 5,000 miles in 3 weeks! Other than that, my hot air balloon jump was definitely amazing!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm happy to pitch in and help whenever needed: dishes, cleaning, hands-on work, cooking. For the most of the day, I plan to be out exploring. If you're someone who's looking for good company, just visit and/or explore, or to play games, I'm your girl. I love creating lasting relationships, and communication is key.
