Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been couchsurfing a handful of times and hosted once.

My favorite thing about CS, and travel in general, is the opportunity to meet interesting and passionate people from all walks of life, to share stories, hobbies, and passions- and maybe make some new memories along the way.

Interests

Always down for adventure, the more unexpected the better. When I'm not working 60+ hours a week, chasing my dreams into reality, I am most often reading, writing, dancing, hiking, running, traveling, cooking, or knitting.

Music, Movies, and Books

Will listen to almost any kind of music and always looking for something new to listen to- suggest your favorites!

Will read anything I can get my hands on- that includes the backs of shampoo bottles and instruction manuals. But generally I read fiction or listen to non-fiction books. Most recently I finished the third book in the Wheel of Time series and Non-Violent Communication by Rosenberg. Of course, always taking suggestions to add to the queue.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travel Accomplishments:
-Spent a week in the Swiss Alps, hiking endlessly, chasing vistas, and generally appreciating all the wildflowers
-Studied in Jonkoping, Sweden for five months while working towards my degree

Personal Accomplishments:
-Section hiked 70 miles along the AT through the Smokys
-Caught a fish in the ocean with my bare hands in the middle of the night using my phone as a flashlight

Teach, Learn, Share

Can teach you how to knit, juggle, cook the perfect egg over medium, or swing dance (east coast/lindy hop).

Insatiably curious, so whatever you have to teach, I will do my best to be up for the challenge.

Can share stories, cook you a meal, and hopefully offer you a place to stay next time you're passing through wherever I put down roots next.
