About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Make our home a cosy couchsurfing spot
ABOUT ME
We met in South-East Asia in 2010. After traveling and eating a lot of noodle soup together, we spent some time on opposite sides of the world, but ended up living in London together. In May 2012 we came to Adelaide, Claire's hometown, and have just found ourselves a little unit just outside the city.
PHILOSOPHY
Viva la vida! Before you know it's over, so enjoy life, pluk de dag, carpe diem (and nocte!)
We both aim to go with the flow and enjoy seeing what each day brings and what we can bring it.
We have found that good experiences make us richer than mulah does.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We both couchsurfed in different countries, and loved the concept. It made such a difference to our travel experiences, having not only places to go to, but also people to go to and help us see their cities. Now it's payback time! We now hope to give you a similar experience.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We couchsurfed in Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand, England, Switzerland, Italy, Sweden and Chile.
Interests
Running the woods in Switzerland with a host and his running club.
Eating carbonara handmade by an Italian host.

Orienteering in the snow in Sweden.
Crazy bike rides through Ho Chi Minh on the back of a host's bike.

Music, Movies, and Books
We just got ourselves a new little hifi system, so are enjoying booming out a range of tunes. Claire does a bit of musical theatre so there is occasionally a few show tunes being hummed. Triple J is the radio station of choice for us here. Claire likes books that make her go "aww" and thumbing through cookbooks, Tac favours the sports pages, and true stories.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Jumped out of a plane, dived to 35 metres deep, saw some cool stuff including: Grand Canyon, Halong Bay, Angkor Wat, Ayers Rock, Great Barier Reef, Milford Sound, Torres del Paine, Maccu Picchu, Galapagos Islands and of course the Euromast.
Teach, Learn, Share
We are both trying to improve our guitar skills, and would love any assistance that can be offered with this!
Tac gives a great Dutch lesson, he is very patient.
Claire can get you started on a Ripstik.
We can show you how to dance like idiots in a lounge room or kitchen.
