We are currently busy with some major changes in our housing situation. Therefore we are hardly able to receive guests. As soon as this will change, we will set our 'hosting availability' button in our account back to a full 'yes'! We live in Almere (200.000), very close to Amsterdam. Almere is founded only some 30 years ago and is thus one of the newest towns in the world. Somewhere between 2008 and 2011 Taco 'gradually moved in with Brigit, who had already lived in Almere for more than two decades. Brigit is a real Almere-pioneer. She knows everything about Almere its short history. Almere is certainly worth visiting if you are interested in modern architecture and city planning, but also if you just look for a quiet couch near Amsterdam`s city center. Trains to Amsterdam run every 15 minutes and it takes only 25 minutes to get there.
