About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Finding balance between work, life & creative fun.

ABOUT ME

I am 52 and have traveled extensively for my work and a fair amount for pleasure too. Wandering with a purpose and accomplishing personal growth are the things I am most interested in now. Been traveling the last 3 years with my awesome partner Gaila. She rocks.

PHILOSOPHY

Since I have accomplished much in my career and family life I now want to focus more time on giving back, growing friendships and having great life experiences with purposeful wandering.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am participating both as a host and a surfer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have a full guest bedroom/bathroom setup that makes for a great experience. Big kitchen and outdoor patio with fire pit makes for warm evenings. Just wrapping up an awesome surfing experience in San Diego with friends Erin and Kevin. Terrific!!

Music, Movies, and Books

Everything from classical to Indie and beyond. Adventure books, business reads and Sherlock Holmes are some of my favorites.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Raising my two children is the most amazing thing I have done, by far. After that, racing cars, travel, mountain bikes and ADV riding are a few of things that come to mind. Hanging with 5 month old lions in South Africa is pretty high on my list, too. Have done some pretty solid work, too.

Teach, Learn, Share

Definitely can teach adventure motorcycle skills and setup. Pretty good in the software business too and have some experience raising good children :-)

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Belize, Canada, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, Denmark, El Salvador, England, Finland, France, Germany, Guatemala, Honduras, Jamaica, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, Nicaragua, Panama, Poland, Scotland, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, United States, Virgin Islands, British, Virgin Islands, U.S.
