About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Stewarding my land that I call Tadpole Manor, as I actively permaculture principles for the betterment of the land aligned with nature. Doing an experiment as we create a community of able, positive, joyful, gracious folks, who cooperate and play our way to live a better life. Being an elder, a writer, dancer. and gracious loving partner to my dear man as we share this stage of our lifes together. I call myself a Garden Variety Goddess.
PHILOSOPHY
Name it. Bask in it. Get it. I believe in instant manifestation of what is needed and wanted. I believe that people should communicate by stating how they feel, and what they need and want instead of blaming others for what is going on. Conditions can change for the better, and one way to do this is to take baby steps, making some move to the positive. Karma is the result of my thinking. Everyday I judge my progress by "Did I increase my positive thinking and reduce my negative thinking?" I strive for voluntary simplicity, whole foods, balance in life, many loving, long time relationships, while being ethical and loving.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am a new member and interested in meeting people from many cultures with the same purposes to unite in community. I'd like to travel and meet others.
I have a little farm retreat place in Deadwood Oregon along a beautiful creek. It is 30 miles from the coast. I know you are doing the coast trip, but if you are intending on visiting Eugene, I am on the way. Look up Tadpole Manor on Facebook to see how beautiful it is and what I have going on here with organic, back to nature, permaculture, gift economy life.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I used to hitchhike all over the west coast, and had no problems meeting people, perceiving if they were good folks, and spending some time with them. I'd help out in their family, or help with business then move on. I have house sat for people, as temporary housing for me. In any city, I'd find the Unitarians and was able to couch surf with them 100% of my tries. I have always had an open house policy in my own home, and taken word of mouth, or referrals from any of my friends.
