Overview
About Me
I go to university in Kyoto. A four-year biology major. I belonged to Drama(in English) club at university in Japan, Broadcasting(reading Japanese literature aloud) club in High school. Basically, I like expressing something in front of people. Recently I found the love of appreciating contemporary arts.
I took a year off and went to join classes at a Canadian university last year. Then I finished 2 semesters, and traveled around Canada and US before going back to Japan.
I like meeting and communicating with people, getting to know them, and learning new things. Meeting many different people and sharing thoughts/learning something new lets me know more about the bigness of the world, giving me more stuff to wonder. I really love those moments i get inspiration from people😄 It's something you can never do staying in your room and using a phone, reading or studying.(Although that's the way I spend most of my spare time.) I do like knowing something new books-based, too. I'm not that good at it, but I like it, so I do it:)
I spend lots of time wondering things like life, society, etc..., and it's fun for me. I'm looking for what I can do to make the most use of myself in this world, or how to feed my soul in the future and in the current situation.
I'm always happy to learn new stuff. I took classes about contemporary indigenous issues, biological anthropology, cultural and social anthropology, Comparison of Jews, Christians and Muslims. I don't have religion, but I'm interested in what people appreciate and feel happier about their faith. So i attended the alpha session(casual Christian session) and bible study sometimes during my stay at the Canadian university.
It's hard introducing myself! idk! I guess I'll fix this sometime later.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Getting close to local people helps me get what that city is like, what it’s like to live there, and how it compares to Japan. It lets me love the place I visited more, and also makes me discover new things about my culture. Another thing is, couchsurfing is such a nice system to match people who genuinely want to meet and make friends with new people. I've stayed in hostel, Airbnb, hotel..but you don't necessarily meet nice and friendly people. But couchsurfing got really well-described profiles and it excites me that so many people want to meet people.
Also, it has long been my dream to have many friends around world..since i started learning English!😊

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One thing I came up with was that I found it is best for me to write down whatever is in my mind to organize thoughts when I can't stop thinking about something cos I'm stressed or confused or for whatever reasons. And I make it a rule not to show that note to anyone else. That way, you can write whatever you think without thinking someone might judge you or stuff like that. It may not sound so special to you, but it was a big discovery in my 20 and a bit years of life. That made my life way easier and I'm so glad about this;]
