I have 3 names. Taejun Ahn(안태준) as my Korean name, Ken Yamashita(山下剣) as my Japanese name and Kenneth Ahn as my English(American) name and these names were all my official names. I was born in LA, the United States, raised until 7 in Tokyo, Japan and spent most of my school life in Korea thus I had 3 nationality. When I was young, I considering a lot about myself, my identity wondering where do I belong and what kinda person do I have to be. I travelled a lot im order to fimd the answer to these questions and find myself as a global citizen. As I mentioned, I travelled various places and have multiple cultural background. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

First of all, like most of the people, I joined couchsurfing in order to be a part of the city that I visit. Visiting a city as a tourist has a lot of restriction for accessing true face of it. Just visiting tourist attraction and taking some photos mean nothing to me. True value of travel is to find emotions that each city has on their own and those emotions are within the people who's living in. I want to share their own emotions while staying with hosts.
Second, making new friends is another joy that travel offers us. But it's usually quite hard to make a friend in a city or even have deep talking with total stranger. Couchsurfing gives us at least a chance to be a friend with hosts or another visitor. That is why I'm on couchsurfing.
