My name is Tafari Robertson. I am 22 years old and live in San Marcos, TX with my cat Stokely and three other roommates. I consider myself to be a hard working jack of all trades. I find enjoyment in art, music, video, writing, or political organizing, I strive for originality.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm at an age now where I want to be more comfortable with traveling and I want to see more of the world. Couchsurfing will, hopefully, help me meet other people who are experienced travelers.

Interests

I like so many things it can be hard to sum up. Lately, I'm especially interested in literature and have been writing more poetry and short essays. I'm also really wanting to invest more time into my art projects.

Music, Movies, and Books

It's hard to pick a favorite movie but the one I can watch the most is Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
My favorite music includes Earl Sweatshirt, Solange, Noname, Blood Orange, Saba, and Andre 3000.
My favorite book is either Nobody Knows My Name by James Baldwin or Slaughterhouse 5 by Kurt Vonnegut.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm especially interested in Black History so I can teach about that. I also play several instruments (Guitar, Bass, Keyboard, Musical Saw) to a teaching capacity. I'm working on some small books right now too!

What I Can Share with Hosts
