ABOUT ME

I like long stretches of time alone, but I am also very social. I like both sides of the conversation to happen, so if you meet me I will tell you about a lot of different things but I will also enjoy hearing you tell me about whatever interests you.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all of these in various forms, but I have a strange form of amnesia regarding this--so if you say to me, "hey, do you remember that scene in that movie starring that guy..." most likely I won't remember it. I will just have to watch the movie again.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've taught yoga since 1999, am semi-educated as a coffee barista, and know a little bit about tea and medicinal herbs and nutrition.
I would like to continue learning more Spanish and French.I would also like to learn more about different types of music (isn't it a universal language?). Currently I teach Yoga to children and adults; I also teach kids' gymnastics and creative movement.
Right now I am working towards my Master's in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages).
