My number one interest is the city I live in: Mexico City. It is an amazing, textured place, far more than the sum of its parts. I never tire of exploring it! I also enjoy gastronomy, urban geography & planning, the great outdoors, language, writing, reading, and art & design.

As a former junior high and high school teacher, I take pride in having helped more than one teenager survive adolescence.
