About Me

CURRENT MISSION

...counting the days for San Francisco... Giants, here we come!!!!!

ABOUT ME

I'm about talking; I'm about having fun. I enjoy reading, writing, dancing, getting to know people and the way they live their life. I want to learn... to be taught... I am currently finishing my bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Puerto Rico, and I start medical school in August. I'm a huge sports fan, so wherever I go, I will definetly be a part of the sports scene... I'm a big wine and cheese fan, big pizza and beer fan... I love coffee shops (serious caffeine addiction)... and the smell of new books (that whole e-book thing hasn't dawned on me yet). As you can see, I was right to say I love talking, so if you just want to chill and have a good time, I'm pretty sure we'll get along just fine!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I learned about the couchsurfing community from two friends that have hosted many many couchsurfers. Since I'm always at their house (I actually have my own key), I guess I could say I've hosted vicariously through them. In the short time I have known them and CS, I have met a number of trully amazing people from many different places. Now, I want to travel... I want to learn... I want to meet... and I have thought of no better way to do it than through couchsurfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met people (hosted by my friends) from Germany, France, Italy, the Midwesten US, California, New York, Ohio, Egypt, Hawaii, Scandinavia, etc... In Puerto Rico, we're about drinking and dancing, and talking, so we've had very good times with these people doing that and more. Particular experiences are too many to describe, but in general, the couch surfing experience is amazing.

Interests

As i mentioned above, I love sports... I love reading... I love hanging out, drinking, talking, laughing... I'm interested in a good time, in whatever way I can give it to you or you can give it to me. I'm interested in science... culture, history, literature... wine and coffee sampling... California is just around the corner next month!

Music, Movies, and Books

lots of books, many books, too many books... give me Sartre, give me Kafka (please, give me Kafka)... Nathaniel Hawthorne... "Because I Remember Terror, Father, I Remember You" - Sue William Silverman, "The Center Cannot Hold"... give me poetry... Bécquer, Buesa, Burgos, Storni, Pietri... I'm going to stop with the books now. Music.. I'm latin, so, we love guitars. Acoutic guitar latin music... smooth jazz, romantic songs...strong lyrics... lyrics that move you... When it comes to movies, I'll enjoy pretty much anything... except jackass and elephant... NAPOLEON DYNAMITE!!! (don't judge me!)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My answer will be geeky and medical... so I wont share because many may doubt it amazing... Napoleon Dynamite is pretty amazing too... alright, I'm a geek, I'm sorry.
