ABOUT ME

Born & bred in the Philippines, came to Aust at a young age and been here ever since.
Just came back to Australia from a year backpacking in Canada, ended up going to 6 provinces and 1 territory so a good half the country ... but not enough! I'm now living/working/studying in Sydney, only the most beautiful, amazing city on Earth!
That's basically me to be honest. I enjoy a beer or two (or twelve) whenever as its always beer o clock in my world. Love to surf whenever I get the chance (and find another board,) love local pubs where the draft is cheap and the music is pumping

PHILOSOPHY

Philosophy? Hardcore. I guess the main 'phrase' I like to live by that I came up with during a maths class one day is 'if you can't fix it, don't worry about it.' It keeps you focused on what you need to do in life and helps you to forget about all the junk that we're all faced with from time to time.
Also nothing can beat the ethos of the book from The Power Of One .. 'First with the head, then with the heart.'

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I used CS to get myself around Canada. Best decision ever as I came back home with amazing mates (and stories) from all over the country. Ended up in some odd and amazing places but nothing that I wouldn't do again! Everyone I met via CS was what I hoped and quite often, so much more. Viva la CS I rekon

Interests

Interests aye? Well I'm pretty into music. Any kind I'm not fussed. Nothing like catching a local gig at the pub or something. I miss jamming with my mates back home, but I did invest in a harmonica and hakky sack to keep me occupied in my travels. Best decision ever ..! I love playing basketball every now and then, then of course the usual hype which comes with a good day/night out. I'm a pretty heavy reader, love nothing more than a decent book. Pretty pictures are always a bonus

Music, Movies, and Books

MOVIES -Always up for a movie of any sort. Depends what mood I'm in I spose. If I want a tear jerker I suggest a Filo drama . Everyone always ends up in tears, generally in the first 10min or so, so at least they get to the point
MUSIC - thats hard. As I said I'm a fan of all sorts. I'll give anything a go. My CD collection ranges from stuff from Metallica to Bach to African Tribal music. Love it all
BOOKS - Gota love a good book. I like auto/biographies the most but will read anything to keep me occupied

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Broke my nose learning how to surf. I guess thats not really 'amazing' as such but it explains the bump in my nose at least
