About Me

Hey there, :)

I am just another guy from Pakistan, experiencing a life changing event as I have just moved to Bangkok for work. An entirely different country from the one I ve lived in so far.
Looking to be a better and more mature person as I get along this experience. :)

I am usually a private person. Meyers Briggs describes me as an INTP. I am introvert doesn't mean that I bite people off though. It's just that you'd find an intent listener in me much better than a talker..

Among the things that I don't like about myself is that I tend to be lazy and procrastinating which I seek to change. Probably you, dear guest, can help me change that a bit. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am thrilled by the idea. Coming from a background one literally has zero opportunity to meet people from diverse backgrounds, my new country of residence offers me that advantage that you can actually make close acquanitances, and possibly and preferably friends from all over the world.
That's an exciting thought!

Interests

Reading, Social Media, Travelling, Politics (I am a leftist :) )

Music, Movies, and Books

Not much into Music.
I am a literature nerd (or was, as I am having a 'reader's block' if there is something like that)
Starting from Harry Potter (of course lolz)
In fantasy I am a LoTR fan. I have read LoTR books and the Hobit and the Silmarillion. These days I am reading A song of Ice and Fire aka Game of thrones (experiencing reader's block on book 5)
Apart from this in classics I absolutely love Jane Austin's work and her characters; Pride and Prejudice, Persuation...
A tale of two cities.. Charming name and charming book
Gone with the Wind -
My absolute love To Kill a Mocking Bird
Godfather..

In contemporaries I loved all three Khaled Hosseinis.
And I haven't read much Paulo Coelho apart from The Alchemist and Like a flowing river but they were sensational both of them..
I have read some Sydney Sheldon, Jeffrey Archer, and all Robert Langdon by Dan Brown... Et al..
Then some Urdu literature also. But very haphazard

And Movies, there is a hugeeeeeee list of movies I loved. Somehow Schindler's list always comes to my mind, twelve Angry Men, The Green Mile, Forrest Gump, Gone with the wind, to kill a mocking Bird, 12 years a slave, finding neverland, eternal sunshine of a spotless mind are a few that I went absolutely gaga about.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In my want for reaching out I made some online friends and I ve stayed friends with them for looong periods of time through thick and thin. :)
Hail and storm. Lolz
The oldest friendship of this genre has completed a decade and we ve never met.

Teach, Learn, Share

Stories stories stories. And breaking stereotypes. I being a Muslim from Pakistan I would like my would-be guests to carry a different image then what is more commonly prevelant.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I guess they ll have to find out. I still am discovering myself. :)
I think I have this cute aura. So may be I could bring in some nerdy cuteness along.. Lol. :)

Countries I’ve Visited
