ABOUT ME

Im a fun loving and out going person ! i thrive in social circles. Im a total outdoors person, i love diving, kitesurfing, windsurfing, sailing, Off Roading, camping, rock climbing etc... (the list is just too long!)

I love traveling and meeting new people ! I think couch surfing is a great concept and I'm excited to meet new people through it and share travel stories.

Im easy going, laid back, island mentality, after all i did grow up on one. I think i have a great sense of humor, i get along well with almost anyone and am able to adjust to situations and places.

PHILOSOPHY

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Im pretty new at this, been living in Cairo since 2010 and I've already had a fantastic experience with CS and i would love to explore it further and even contribute as much as possible. I love travelling and i know how difficult it is to make that first step and start. CS really really makes it so much more easier and such a pleasant experience.

兴趣

Extreme sports like diving, windsurfing, kitesurfing. Camping, hiking and basically any sort of adventure count me in !

I just graduated from the American University in Cairo. Majored in Accounting and Economics.

I love to meet new people and share travel stories and show people around cities i am familiar with.

Occasionally i don't mind staying in with a good book or perhaps a good movie! But mostly i prefer to spend time on the beach, especially in Dahab on the Rea Sea ! And my beautiful island home Sri Lanka.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

After the 2004 Tsunami hit my home country, Sri Lanka, i was involved in numerous rescue and aid missions across the costal areas that were hit. I realized then how fragile life is, but also the state of certain people in my own country. I was touched by the fact that people who had lost every thing they had including loved ones could still manage a smile through all their hardships. I then truly realized that my troubles were nothing and there are people living in worse conditions and with bigger problems. And today i embrace each day and try to help as many people as i can along the way always with a smile !

I love learning languages and am proficient in quite a few. I have experienced many cultures and ethnicities and can share insight on them. I enjoy the sea and strive to teach others to respect and protect this very precious resource and the life within it.
