Aloha! I'm a 21 year old girl originally from Hawaii, though I was born in NYC on the upper east side and I love living in the city. I have a retail job in the West Village and I attended Parsons at The New School. I majored in Integrated Design with a focus in Eco Merchandising and Sustainable Fashion. I’ve lived a bunch of places, various islands in Hawaii, Seattle, New Jersey, and currently New York.

Personality-wise, I’m real easy going, and come from a family of three other siblings, so I know what it is like living and cooperating with multiple people in a home. I also know what is needed in being a good guest in a home because I have always had roommates. I’m an extremely neat person and I tend to extend my neatness beyond my own room, meaning I have no problem cleaning the bathroom/kitchen areas on a daily basis. I actually kind of do it by nature.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I live extremely simply, travel lightly and I do not have many personal belongings. Recently I decided to sell everything I own and live very nomadically. I love exploring new places and learning as I go. I’ll likely be hanging around any place I stay on weeknights. I am a fairly busy person and my job responsibilities are quite demanding, however tidying and cleaning up are like second nature to me, so I always find time for that. I have been known to leave a place in better condition than when I found it.

Music, Movies, and Books

My all time favorite novels are The Lord of the Flies, Catcher in the Rye and Twelfth Night. I love binge watching any new Netflix Original show, currently obsessed with House of Cards and OITNB. As far as music goes, I am kind of an old soul. Classic Rock is my go-to jam. Anything from the 60's and beyond I can vibe with as well. All time fav artists would have to be Fleetwood Mac, Bruce Springsteen and John Mellencamp.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I learned to surf when I was five years old, and haven't stopped since. I hope to get out to Montauk soon and check out those waves.
