About Me

Hi! I'm Taiki. I'm a Japanese college student and study business. I used to study English in San Diego!

During my program in San Diego, I got to travel a lot of part in the US and I've been to 14 states. My dream is to visit all states and meet lots of nice people.
Besides traveling in the US, I've been to Singapore for sightseeing and Canada for volunteering and homestay.

I love to meet people, exchange culture and have nice drink:-) I'm open minded so don't hesitate to contact me!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy meeting local people more than just going to sightseeing when i go to travel.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like rock music and my favorite band is Green Day. I went their concert in San Diego for the first time of even concert which was AMAZING.
I prefer movies based on true story to fantasy movie. My favorite one is The Blind Side.
I don't read books that much but I read some for practicing reading. Since I like football, I've read The Blind Side and Billion dollar ball. Those were really hard to read and took me time to finish but very interesting.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Singapore when I was 18 years old. That was my first trip to foregin country.
Since everything was different than Japan, I've very impressed to know new culture, meet people from the all over the world(People in Singapore are diverse), and talk them in English.
I was not able to speak English well at that time so since then I've tried to study English hard as much as I can and came to the United States to brush up my English skills.
People I'd met in Singapore were so kind and nice that my trip has been special to me.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a open person so I can share anything my experience, culture in Japan or anything fun to talk about.
I'd like to share about my country because Japan has interesting culture.
