Overview
About Me
Hello! My name is Taya, short for Taisa, and I love to travel!
I’m an artist from Belarus, but my country is in difficult political situation, and I unfortunately can’t come back to my homeland as I’m politically repressed there.
So right now I live in Poland, Warszaw, and step by step I’m becoming local there! I know the city pretty well and can show you around, but Warsaw is huge and I have a lot to explore myself, so I hope to share the satisfaction with you guys!
Me and my boyfriend Eugene fancy wild camping, hiking, and hitchhiking. For me this style of travelling is the best, because you get to know countries not only from touristic side, but you are able to have more authentic experience. That’s why I’m here, on Couchsurfing.
I believe that life is easy and world is open to you, that possibilities are endless and people are friendly and want to help.
Can’t wait to meet you all, Couchsurfers!
‼️PLEASE DON’T message me if you are looking for LOVE, DATE, SEX or something of the kind, I’m in a RELATIONSHIP and l love my partner.

Music, Movies, and Books
I can’t live without music, it inspires and motivates me. I would love to show you all my favourite Belarusian rock bands, I’m a huge fan of my culture!
When I have time to watch some films I try all different genres, from Hollywood productions to black-and-white films. I really want to listen about your favourite films.
I really recommend you to watch “The Zone of Interest”.
I used to read a lot of detectives, but now I try to read different book: psychology books, fantasy novels, dystopian novels, horrors. Used to read Stephen King a lot :)
Now my favourite book is “On hundred years of solitude” by Gabriel García Márquez.

I would love to share my culture with you, teach you same beautiful Belarusian words and show you some recepire from Belarusian cuisine. In return I want to listen about your country and try to really get to know your culture or your travelling experience if you are not really into this stuff.
