ABOUT ME

My name is Thijs. I'm Dutch, but have been a barefoot bandit of New Zealand soils for most of my life. Im an illustrator, tattoo artist, muralist and kindergarten teacher.
I really enjoy the outdoors.
Im interested in traveling by way of WWOOFing and thus learning more about local foods, cultures and farming practices, especially organic and permaculture.
I like cycling, running and diving.

I have hitchhiked around NZ a bit. I recently worked on a salt farm in Yamaguchi, that was cool, just really peaceful and timeless. I think those moments are probably just as intensely satisfying as any other extreme thing.
