Overview
About Me
I am a kitchen manager at an engineering college, living in the Boston area. I'm open minded and easy going. I believe in taking life's ups and down with a sense of humor. 'A person without a sense of humor is like a wagon without springs, jolted by every pebble in the road.' I believe in living in the moment and creating learning experiences by stepping out of my comfort zone.
I like exploring, having new experiences, ideas, and cultures. Laughing with close friends. I enjoy EATING, traveling and seeing more than the bubble I live in.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am a small town girl with dreams of seeing the world...on a budget. Couchsurfing provides me the freedom to see places I normally would not be able to see. It allows me to break past the superficial tourist route and engage with local for an authentic experience.
Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite band growing up was the Beatles and bad 90s boybands, oh yea! Currently, I enjoy an eclectic mix of music including- Rodrigo y Gabriella, classic 80s music, Radiohead, Roy Orbison, Tom Petty, Miles Davis, Aventura, Nathaniel Ratecliff and the Night Sweats, Rihanna...
I love watch Forgetting Sarah Marshall and having a good laugh anytime it's playing on tv, GoodFellas, The Fall, Moulin Rouge, Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind, Bridesmaids...
I am not an avid reader book. When I do have a book in hand it's usually nonfiction, and memoirs about food/chefs, currently reading Lean in...
