ABOUT ME

It's always a bit strange trying to describe yourself, but a while back I stayed with a host that describes me as "candid with a healthy sense of self-ridicule " and I think that might be the best description of my personality I've ever heard. "loves to laugh", "talkative", "emotive", "friendly", "open-minded", "easy-going" are some other ways I've been described (at least ones that I agree with 😁)

There is nothing I enjoy more than getting to know different kinds of people from all over the world and luckily for me, couchsurfing is the perfect platform for that :)

I enjoy going out with friends, drinking a good dark beer (preferably Lager) and just talking, I'm not really a "party all night" type of person, mainly because I lack the stamina for it, but I do LOVE a good (board) game night!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted and have been hosted - both wonderful experiences in their own way!
I'm also more than happy to just share a day with somebody, to show them around town.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have nothing, but superlatives to say about couchsurfing. I’ve been hosted and have hosted a couple of times already and have gotten to know some amazing people. People I would not have met, had it not been for couchsurfing. It’s a completely different, more fulfilling, way of travelling, of experiencing a foreign land, its culture and traditions and of getting to know people. In regards to hosting I also always love discovering a familiar place through fresh eyes, makes you appreciate what you have at home more.

I love to go out, hike, ride a bike, I play badminton and tennis and love to go Salsa dancing. I also like to cook and bake. I have a slight obsession with comedy. I love me some stand up or British panel shows. I also enjoy live concerts.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I enjoy many different genres of music, what I listen to is very much dependant on my mood. I love rock, punck, American country music, traditional Gaelic music, metal, Latin music (especially salsa and reggaeton), opera... A little bit of everything :)

When it comes to books I feel as though they're all my children and I could never pick a favorite, but my current mission is to finish reading the Discworld series by Terry Pratchett.

Taking a 3 year break from UNI and working in Germany and Switzerland (in hospitality and gastronomy) to re-evaluate the path I have chosen for myself.

Love to cook and bake! Maybe I can show you have to make some traditional Slovene dishes. If you are interested in languages it might be interesting for you to learn a bit about the slovene language (which is quite unique).
