bubbly, fun, sporty, adventurous, saved by grace, always looking for fun things to do!

Favourite unexpected moments: roof topping in Jaipur, India; stumbling into a swing dance club at 2am in Slovenia; sitting at the back of an open- truck in Egypt (hitchhiking/joyriding?); jumping off the deck of a junk in Hong Kong; getting inside a warm, cosy cafe after being in -20c snow blizzard in Poland; random night outs with friends in Nottingham; this is quite lame but I got promoted to a suggested user on Instagram (@shot.nottingham) twice and it was insanely exciting and unexpected for me (at that time!).

I am the type of person who would search for off-the-beaten track things to do; I love being in the nature, be it waterfalls, lakes, hills, beaches.

When I meet new people, some would say I am inquisitive (aka nosy); I ask a lot of questions, but that's all because I love people. I love knowing individuals on a more personal level by hearing their stories, their views, as long as you are willing to talk, I am willing to listen; occasionally I might get into one of those controversial discussions... Irarely take things personally and most of the time I am happy to just settle ons 'agree to disagree'.- so fire away! :)

I started playing the guitar recently- self-taught mostly! My first ever song I played was Riptide by Vance Joy, I played it over and over and over again that my housemates all now know the lyrics from back to front!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed with 3 different hosts in 3 different countries in 1 trip! All three trips were unique; as a person who loves to strike up conversations, the topics that we touched upon were vast, ranging from cultural understanding, to our hobbies, to philosophy. I am so inspired by the open-mindedness, generosity and energy that each of my hosts had. The best was to wake up to a nice big bowl of breakfast smoothie prepared by my Slovenian hosts, the fruit tea infused with Croatian pine honey and the midnight gelato tour in Trieste (a bit of a food theme..).
I had such great time with them and can't wait till my next Couchsurfing experience!
I'd love to be able to host in the future!

Interests

i love bouldering (newbie !), playing badminton, reading the news/ books, running, cooking- but mainly veggie/ healthy foods. Looking up travel places, taking pictures.
