Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m on Couchsurfing because I believe the best way to experience a place is through its people. Staying with locals allows me to learn more about their culture, traditions, and daily life in a way that no guidebook can offer. I’m also passionate about practicing languages and gaining a deeper understanding of their diversity. Meeting new people gives me the perfect opportunity to practice and improve my language skills while learning about different perspectives. For me, Couchsurfing is not just about finding a place to stay, but about

Music, Movies, and Books

I’m a music lover with a wide taste, from rock,to classical music,jazz, pop, soul, blues, and folk. I’m always eager to discover something new, as music is an essential part of my life. A perfect day for me is one where I can dance to my favorite songs or just to really good music. Without music, the day feels incomplete.
I deeply passionate about films. I adore everything from silent black-and-white classics, the old masterpieces of Kurosawa, and Asian cinema (Japan, China, Korea) to European films, Iranian cinema, also many directors like Tarkovsky, Wong Kar-wai, and Jim Jarmusch. I love the art of cinema with all my heart.
In addition to music and film, I’m an avid reader, primarily of Russian and Japanese literature. Reading enriches my life, bringing depth and variety to each day.
私は幅広い音楽を愛するメロマニアです。ロックからクラシックまで、ジャズ、ポップ、ソウル、ブルース、フォークまで、常に新しい音楽を発見するのが楽しみです。音楽は私の生活に欠かせないもので、幸せな一日は、お気に入りの曲や素晴らしい音楽に合わせて踊る瞬間にあります。音楽がない日は、どうしても物足りなく感じてしまいます。
また、無声の白黒映画、黒澤明の古い作品、アジア映画（日本、中国、韓国）から、ヨーロッパ映画、イラン映画、タルコフスキー、ウォン・カーウァイ、ジム・ジャームッシュといった監督の作品まで、心の底から映画が大好きです。
さらに、読書も大好きで、主にロシアと日本の文学を読んでいます。本を読むことは、人生を豊かで多様なものにしてくれます。

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I’ve done is moving to Japan to study the language and immerse myself in the culture. It was my first time living abroad, away from my family, and it’s been an incredible journey of personal growth and discovery. Every day brings new challenges and adventures, and I feel like I’m constantly learning and evolving.

I’m also happy to introduce you to the rich culture and traditions of Central Asia, especially Uzbekistan, through stories, music, and food. I’d love to share my passion for it as well! I enjoy cooking, so I’d be more than happy to cook a meal together and exchange recipes from our cultures.
