About Me
Restless Californian searching for adventure around the world!! I love yoga, rock climbing, learning languages, and eating food. :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm both a travel addict and a recent university graduate... not exactly the most ideal combination!
Other than budget reasons, I've also heard really positive things about couch surfing from other friends. I firmly believe that the best experiences are made through human connections. When I travel someplace, I'm not looking to simply see the main attractions and move on. I'd like to see the place through the lens of a local and truly immerse myself into the culture and the people.
Interests
One of the most incredible things in my mind is how an organism develops into a fully functioning, beautiful being from just a single cell. So yes, I'm a biology nerd!! I love nature, going on hikes, exploring all the magical beauty on this planet.
That being said, I also have immense appreciation for manmade art. I grew up playing piano, taking art lessons, and spending weekends at museums with my mom. I especially love learning about a city's architectural history, and finding urban art in the hidden corners few people venture into.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy listening to all sorts of music depending on my mood. My genres of choice are classic rock, alternative rock, indie rock, reggae, and hip-hop/rap. I always like to listen to other people's playlists, that's largely how I discover new artists I like. :)
My favourite movies at the moment are Whiplash and Gone Girl. I don't have a specific genre of film I'm into, and I love suggestions!
I could go on about my favourite books for days but it would be too long and boring to read!! I will forever be a Harry Potter fan at heart, those books were my childhood. Just talk to me about what you're currently reading and I promise we'll have a great conversation.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I don't really know what to put here to be honest... hehe. It's funny how when others share their life experiences they don't see them as being so remarkable, but they've actually done some pretty incredible things! I hope the same goes for me. ;)
One thing I love about travelling is that it's given me the opportunity to meet so many interesting people from all walks of life.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my company, corny jokes, and I can cook a pretty good meal if you'd like a taste of Israeli food!
