Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like the idea of meeting new people. I opened the account upon hearing about Couchsurfing, but forgot about the platform until February 2018, when I met a Couchsurfer on the street with no place to stay and offered to host them. To be honest I prefer meeting people who are more likely to stay in Israel and keep in touch, but I'm happy to share my present moment with anyone from any culture and have a good time.

I like having conversation with Intelligent people and exchange opinions, mainly when it comes to philosophy and practical wisdom. I find it engaging to learn something from every new person i meet.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am a professional chess player, and i'm Playing international tournaments all over the world. I managed to beat the world champion and even recorded myself commentating while doing so without knowing it was him.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to learn about culture, and people's everyday lives. That includes their customs, language, hopes and dreams, and whatever makes you itch :)

I can teach people about the main skill I've acquired from chess: asking the correct questions in the right timing. I'm quite blended with the population in my neighborhood, and would love to introduce you to some locals. We can learn anything together, especially if it has something to do with skills (as opposed to knowledge). learning is a a corner stone of my daily routine.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like to go out at night (or daytime), and if you wish to do so- count me in. I like eating together, and going with the flow. I'm very easy going, realiable and honest, and modestly low maintananceliness.
