Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here to see the world, and not just the way it wants to be seen. I think every person has an incredibly vast store of knowledge and experience which it is a privilege to learn and share. Couchsurfing is the best way to make people immediately comfortable enough to share with each other in that way.

I stayed in a Hotel in Goma in eastern DRC (Congo-Kinshasa) with a view of mighty Nyiragongo, the volcano with the world's largest lava lake.
