I'm a Brazilian research assistant living in Austria. I work in the Dept. of Media Studies at the University of Salzburg. Married. Proud father of our 2-years-old daughter. We love to make friends from all over world and spend some time together.

If you would like to request a stay with us, this is important:

We are not a hotel. We are a family looking forward to knowing interesting people. So we aren't hosting the whole time, because frequently we need time for ourselves. Besides, we prefer to host other couples and families (including diverse couple/family models). We appreciate guests (and hosts) who will do their own stuff, as we usually have also much to do, but we also expect to spend some time together, hang out and maybe go out together for a dinner (or some other activity, like hiking, for example). Finally, we don't accept late requests. A week in advance should be fine, but better even earlier. Finally, because we're not a hotel and would like rather to have a connection with our guests (and hosts), we don't accept requests for staying a single night. Our preference is 2 or 3 nights. Weekends are definitely better, but we don't exclude requests in the week. These are our preferences. If you will give it a try, make sure to let us know how you match (at least most of) our preferences. This doesn't mean writing a long text. Just let us know why you chose to send a request to us.
