COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None through this website yet, though in my travels I've often been given a couch to crash on, and have returned the favor. My favorite such experience involved meeting a couple in a ghost town in Montana who mentioned that their daughter lived in Virginia. When I was bicycling through Virginia several months later I called them up and they happened to be in the state! They invited me over for 3 days (it was Thanksgiving!) and we had a blast, each sharing the adventures of the previous months that brought us there.

Interests

Reading, writing, cooking, yoga, origami, biking, hiking, traveling, climbing, gallivanting, baking, riddles, guitar, drawing, movies, and loafing in no particular order.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I fed an uncaged 800 lb black bear an apple with my mouth.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a decent cook and a novice paper folder. I've also spent months at a time camping outdoors. (I've got a good deal of math and science background, but that's often less desired :))I've got a bottomless curiosity and would be interested in learning any new skill or trade someone was willing to talk about. I also aspire to be a rockin' swing dancer and guitar player and can share the bits I know.
