ABOUT ME

I am living in Perth and currently in China for a photography assignment. One of the reasons I love photography is because it makes me look at what's around me more closely and is often a premise to communicate with people. I feel I have always had travel in my veins. My French mother and Swiss-German father met in Indonesia, and after scoping out many corners of the globe, settled in Western Australia (a good choice I think!). When I'm in my home town of Perth, I also teach ESL to adult migrants and tutor at uni. My aim in life is to always keep learning.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

While I'm fairly new to couch surfing, the philosophy feels familiar. I am lucky enough to be well travelled and grew up in a home that was always open to passing travellers. I have been welcomed by friendly strangers on many of my journeys and always reciprocate the good karma when I am able to. I think that couch surfing is a wonderful phenomena that helps to connect people.
