About Me
I grew up near Vancouver, Canada but have since moved to Zürich, Switzerland in order to reconnect with my maternal family (and, less nobly, feed my cheese and chocolate addictions). I teach conversation skills to IT students. *English conversation skills, I mean.... honestly, hopefully both!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
After years of backpacking solo in Asia and Europe (and staying in hostels), I'm finally working up the nerve to give couch surfing a go - show me how this works!

Music, Movies, and Books
My music taste is fairly wide - I usually listen to a lot of indie/folk/pop but also go through a phase of being really into something else like country, edm, rap... Two songs that have been stuck in my head for the past year+ is "Worth it" by Moses Sumney and "Fallingwater" by Maggie Rogers. That being said, while I love music, I also really appreciate unplugging from my phone/music and being with people or out in nature in whatever way I can.
As far as movies and books are concerned, I generally like to consume stories that make me happy! Real life can be hard enough, ya know?
