ABOUT ME
I am re-energizing this account! I am currently getting a Masters degree in Germany in World Heritage Studies. Related to this, I love to meet people from many places and also visit many new places as well!
I also love to read and write, cook, hike, ride bikes, see live music, and generally dismantle the Patriarchy.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've only ever couchsurfed once before, in the UK, and it was fantastic! I cannot currently host due to my flat not having any additional space, but I would love to as soon as it is possible.
Interests
in no particular order, here are some things that take up space in my brain and time in my day:
- cooking
- traveling
- music
- environmental studies
- science fiction/fantasy
- world heritage studies
Music, Movies, and Books
my favorite movies are Harold & Maude, The Royal Tenanbaums, Cry-baby, The Holy Mountain... oh, and I love HEISTS
I like to listen to folk, punk, blues, bluegrass, indie rock... currently I've got some old-ish-ies in the mix like Otis Redding, Paul Simon, Cat Stevens, as well as some bands on tour like PILE and Swearin'.
I love to read, I love to talk about books, I can do it all day.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A little ways back, I laid on a tiny island in the Pacific with some friends looking up at a trillion crazy beautiful stars and baby turtles crawled down the sand around us searching for the ocean.
Teach, Learn, Share
I like to exchange stories and music.
I give good advice.
We can cook together.
I'd love to pick up some words in your language!
