About Me

I currently live in the San Fernando Valley in a very small room, which is why I cannot host.
I am a student and I work at a restaurant as well as a part-time nanny.
I love seeing live music, taking road trips, and exploring L.A. with my friends.

The reason my profile is not verified is because I do not use CS enough to want to pay $20 a year. But I am a very respectful house guest with plenty of references if you need them. One of my closest friends is a verified CouchSurfing veteran, if that helps!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's a great way to find a place to stay and get to meet someone who lives in the area. I love meeting new people and making new connections everywhere I go. Couchsurfing an amazing tool for travel and seeing places from a locals perspective which to me is ideal.

Interests

Seeing live music, studying the social world, exploring new places, spending time around people I love, meeting new people, cooking vegan food and finding amazing new vegan restaurants!

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a lot of musical interests ranging from Jazz to Punk Rock. When I travel it is often worked around going to see a concert, and I make it into a whole adventure.
My favorite movie of all time is Harold and Maude.
Right now I'm reading Please Kill Me (The History of Punk Rock), The Picture of Dorian Gray, and always finding new Sociological and Feminist Articles.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Two summer's ago I took a week long solo road trip up the California coast from Los Angeles to San Francisco. Stopped along the way to see friends in different towns and stayed with friends and some friend of a friend type situations. It was an incredible experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach and Share to me go hand in hand, when you are sharing something with someone, you are teaching them. I love to share stories, ideas, music, games, interests. I love to learn new music I have not yet discovered, ideologies and perspectives I have never seen heard or lived.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can discuss compensation if that is desired I am willing and able. I love to cook so maybe I can cook us up a meal! I love finding new vegan restaurants around town so maybe we can grab a bite!
