- shark diving in Cape Town
- visiting Masaii villages
- getting to my campsite in the Okavango Delta by mokoro
- Game drives through the Serengetti
- volunteering at an orphanage in Uganda
- Gorge swing in Zimbabwe
- floating down the Nile in a felucca
- sleeping under the stars in the desert in Wadi Rum
